Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, it is aimed to evaluate the economic, environmental and social performances of the companies in Borsa Istanbul Sustainability Index within the scope of their corporate sustainability activities. Sustainability performances of the companies were measured by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method through the indicators in the Integrated Corporate Sustainability Performance Evaluation Index (ICSPEI), which is developed specifically for this research. Obtained results were compared and evaluated within the index companies. By using the application steps in AHP method, the total sustainability scores of the enterprises in the relevant year were found by summing the scores of the economic, environmental and social dimensions of the companies in three dimensions of sustainability. As a result of the calculation, the company that received the highest score is considered to have shown the best corporate sustainability performance in the relevant year. With the applied method, it was possible to evaluate the performance of the enterprises in a certain period of time, and it was also possible to compare multiple companies with each other. After the evaluation of the outputs, the contributions to the literature and practice has been explained and suggestions have been presented to the researchers who will study on the subject. Key Words: Integrated, Corporate Sustainability, Analytic Hierarchy Process, Sustainability Score
