Abstract (EN)
This thesis is prepared with the intention of analysing the physical structure of the institutions of pre-school education, in terms of their appropriateness to education and training. It is a known fact that the physical structure of the institutions has an important effect on child growth. In this respect, the definition and importance of the pre-school education, with its developement in Turkey and through the world, are included in this thesis, which is followed with the presentation of the current physical structure in the institutions and the application for ascertaining their lackings.The exemplification of the study is composed by the pre-school teachers who are carrying out their business within the body of formal elementary schools at Bahcelievler, Istanbul.Key words: Pre-school education, Physical structure
