Abstract (EN)
In recent years, with growing scientific studies, to find a cure for the problem of world hunger, genetically modified agricultural products is to obtain a higher yield. For this purpose, developed genetically modified soybean crops are at the beginnig of. The plant is genetically changed for reasons such as more resistant to herbicide, improving product quality. Soy bean is a part of daily diet for far eastern countries. It has an important place because of rich in protein and carbohydrate content. With various functional properties of soy products is of great importance, for example, soy milk is an alternative source of nutrition for those to allergic to cow?s milk or vegetarians. Turkey has recently met with soy beans that are grown in a lots of our region. But turkish people suspects about soy bean, with the informaiton obtained from news sources, consider that the vast majority of soy beans and soy products are genetically modified. For this purpose in this study, Turkey's 14 different samples of soybeans sold in the province (Adana, Osmaniye, Mersin, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Ankara, Şanlıurfa, Malatya, Konya, Erzincan, Sakarya, Samsun, Bingöl and Tekirdağ) and also 2 units from the status of İstanbul-dried food center were scanned by GMO. Quantitative Real-Time PCR was carried out using the hybridization probes. 35S promoter and NOS terminator genes that define the presence of GMO have been identified in 7 soy examples (Adana, Hatay, Şanlıurfa, Konya, Sakarya, Bingöl and Tekirdağ). GMO detection to study the effects of temperature on the sample of the biscuits made by using Adana region soybeans and fired at 180 oC for 15 minutes. Been shown to reduce the temperature by 58% in the amount of GMO. Turkey in the framework of the Regulation on Genetically Modified Organisms and Products containing GMOs in agricultural production shall be limited. As a result of our work in Turkey GMO soybean cultivation were revealed.
