Turkey real effective exchange rate impact of exports on the basis of payment methods: An analysis for the following year 2000

The aim of this study; the effect of exchange rate, which is one of the most important economic indicators of the countries, on the economic importance of exports, is analyzed on the basis of payment methods. For this aim, between the dates of 2000 -2015 Cash Against Goods with Real Effective Exchange Rate, Cash Against Documents, Advance Payment, Letter of Payment (Cash and Term Rentals) if there is a relationship between the variables to reveal econometric one of the methods of analysis VAR analysis model was used in the study. In this created model, Johansen cointegration and Granger causality tests were applied. In data, which is obtained from result of analyses, variables in Unit root results were found to be stable in the first difference. In the result of the applied Granger causality test, it was determined that advance payment is the reason of Granger's cash against documents method reason; documentary payment method is the reason of Granger's cash against goods method reason, letter of payment method is the reason of Granger's advance payment method. In addition, it was found that there is a two-way Granger causality relationship between cash against goods method and advance payment method.
