The comparati̇ve analysi̇s of Turki̇sh Super League wi̇th Europe's big 5 football eagues

The purpose of this study, according to UEFA ranking with Turkey Super League is a comparative analysis of the key variables specific to football matches in the league in the first 5 countries in Europe statistic. Turkey Super League in the study (n= 9), Spain La Liga (n= 9), English Premier League (n= 9), Italy Serie A (n= 9), German Bundesliga (n= 9) and the French League 1 (n= 9), the data of 78 sub-variables related to 17 main variables in all competitions played by the top 3 teams in 3 seasons (2015/2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018) were evaluated separately. Turkey with the most advanced European football leagues to determine the difference between the five One-Way ANOVA tests and determine which group the difference stems from the posthoc test Scheffe test was used. As a result of the statistical analysis done in the study, Turkey Super League is far behind from the European major 5 football leagues (Spain, England, Italy, Germany, France) on the behalf of determining key variables, such as scored and conceded goals, pass, ball possession, attack and defense actions, shoots, regain the ball and tackles. However, it is found that Turkey Super League leads for the major 5 leagues in actions that make the game slower such as fouls, yellow cards. Furthermore, Turkey Super League has more actions than the major 5 football leagues for unfair play actions. As a result, it is thought that starting from the infrastructure, including more exercises for the basic parameters of football in training will contribute to the development of football.
