Abstract (EN)
Tourism sector is one of the most important revenue sources of a country. Service quality perceptions and satisfaction degrees of tourists on these services are so significant in terms of the tourism activities to be sustainable and develop in the country. In this respect, it can be seen that there have been conducted lots of studies recently about service quality issue tourism sector. Within this context, this study aims at measuring the service quality perceptions of Iraqi tourists on Turkish tourism sector. In relation to the research, survey technique which is one of the quantitative research methods is used. And a survey is prepared and conducted on 201 Iraqi tourists visiting Turkey. The data gathered through this survey is analysed via SPSS-22 statistical analysis program. To determine the demographic features of participants, descriptive statistics and frequency tables are used. Then, the survey scale which is prepared to determine service quality in tourism sector is analysed. Through the validity analysis, 7 factor are determined. In context to these 7 factors, variance analysis is carried out via demographic variables and also the hypotheses are tested. As the results of the research, service quality perceptions of participants on Turkish tourism sector is determined as high, and the 6 of the 7 hypotheses are accepted. Only, there is not determined any significant difference in terms of the variance analysis conducted according to the gender variable
