Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, thermodynamic analysis of an ultra-supercritical thermal power plant in Çanakkale is carried out. Energy and exergy analyzes of boiler, turbine, condenser, condenser pump, deaerator, low and high pressure heaters, boiler feed water pumps, boiler feed water turbines and other equipments found in the system were performed. In this study, enthalpy and entropy values were found by using refprop program. In this analysis, the temperature value was assumed to be 25 °C and the pressure value was 1 bar for the dead conditions. The effect of variable water and coal flow rates on the efficiency of the first and second laws of the plant was investigated and the most suitable water coal flow rate for the system and its efficiency was determined. As a result of the calculations made with the variable water coal flow rate data obtained from the plant, it was found that the most energy loss occurred in the heat condenser we threw into the sea and the most exergy destruction occurred in the boiler. As a result of the analysis of the first and second law efficiency of the plant in variable water coal flow rates, it was found that the water coal flow rate in accordance with the operating conditions was 9.0.
