Abstract (EN)

In today's globalizing world, it is expected that international businesses will be in intense competition. International businesses need to have the right strategy in order to hold on in this intense competitive environment. Managing human resources, which is one of the most fundamental assets of businesses, with the right strategy can give the business a significant advantage over its competitors. In businesses, providing financial, emotional, or psychological support to employees through managerial channels not only helps employees become more sensitive towards embracing the company but also reduces the likelihood of employees experiencing burnout syndrome. The purpose of this research is to demonstrate how the perceived supervisor support affects the potential burnout syndrome experienced by employees of businesses operating in highly competitive international settings. As a result of this research conducted with the participation of 127 employees working in international businesses operating in Şırnak province, it has been observed that perceived supervisor support has a significant negative effect on the emotional exhaustion, which is a sub-dimension of employee burnout. It has also been found that perceived supervisor support has a negative, but statistically insignificant, effect on the sub-dimension of depersonalization of employee burnout. Additionally, it has been observed that perceived supervisorsupport has a significant negative effect on the decrease of employees' personal accomplishment, another sub-dimension of burnout syndrome.
