Abstract (EN)

The internet, which has an indispensable importance for the continuation of life, has gained a different meaning beyond its initial point of departure. This world of meaning includes Muslims in particular and "religious" individuals of all humanity in general, and removes the life-oriented aspects of their beliefs. In other words, the internet has gained the status of a post-modern religion with its social media subheading and alternative and attractive content. This situation creates "addiction" especially in young people. In this study, the relationship between religiosity and social media addiction of university students will be examined. In the first part, addiction and its types were examined in general. In the second part, social media and its contents are discussed. In the third part, religion, religiosity and social media are examined. In the last part, the data obtained from the field study was evaluated and the content of the subject was completed, and in the conclusion part, the results, determinations and recommendations were tried to be expressed.
