The efectiveness of the applied values education to the 6 year highly gifted students

The aim of this research is determining the positive difference in acquiring the specified national and moral values of the Gifted Students in comparison with their peers. Since the study was done over the variation of a single group, the "Causative Research Model" was preferred as a research model. The research was done in 2013-2014 academic year, over a group consisting of 15 gifted students. In the determination of subjects for the research, the WISC-R test results were taken into consideration. Considering 120 WISC-R value, the valid assesment figure for the Gifted in our country, as the valid assesment, a group consisting of the students with 120 and above test scores were created. In the result of analysis according to the SPSS (15.00) a difference in the positive and meaningful way between the pre-test "Target Behaviour Development Scale" points and post-test "Target Behaviour Development Scale" points was acquired. In the result of research, a significant difference on the all Gifted Students was acquired. By the result of this research the success levels in character acquisition of the Gifted Students were specified. Key Words: Gifted, Value, Education of Values
