Life life characteristics effect in working factory workers

The shift work system is thought to cause many problems in occupational individuals, including excessive sleepiness. In our study, the effect of the shift system on individuals' excessive sleepiness and anxiety problems was investigated. The universe of the research is the workers working in the Gürteks group factories. From June to September 2014, a total of 1052 workplaces were applied. In the first part of the questionnaire, 54 questions and the BECK anxiety scale and Epworth sleepiness scale were used to determine demographic characteristics and working conditions. All analyzes were done in Spss 21 program. 55,99% of the workers are between the ages of 26-35, 82,41% are male and 78,42% are married. 71.67% of them did not intentionally choose their profession, 83.84% of them were 46-60 hours per week; 77.57% of them are working in shifts. 60,74% are overtime for 1-30 hours. 65.78% of them did not want to work overtime and 55.23% did not want to work in shifts. % 70,10% felt psychological burnout% 80,32% said that they did not want their family to work at night,% 70,10 Pointed out that their shift work affected the family order. Of the married workers, 68% said they could not spend enough time with their husbands, 69.4% of the children had less interest in their children, and 71.77% said that they could not holiday with their families. 62.93% thought that social relations were not enough, 38.4% of the participants had high anxiety level with the BECK Anxiety scale, and 31% of the Epworth daytime sleepiness test had a daytime sleepiness problem. There were no significant differences in the tests conducted on the scales of the surveyed workers' worker's family and social experiences of shift work and sleepiness situations and the work capacity negatively affected. For the shift work system to be more effective, it has emerged as the most important recommendation of our work that the shift system work should be made more, the good models can be revealed, the further work due to the sensitivity of the work should be done and the social activities for the workers should be included.
