Analysis of the effects of investment incentives of Kutahya province's economy

This work, has made the economical affects of the incentives that are made for area development on the area economy as its subject. Also the effects of incentives on the economies of enterprises have been researched by investigating their effects on investment and employment during the time when the investment incentives are applied.This research is limited only to Kütahya city borders. As a result of improving the 5084 numbered laws coverage area, Kütahya city has been included in the 5084 numbered laws coverage, and during the application period of the incentive politics, the economic effects of the investment incentives between 2005 and 2008 are have been researched. Besides this, a questionnaire has been done in Kütahya Organized Industrial Area to evaluate the effects of investment incentives on enterprises.In the research the economical state of the enterprises in the Organized Industrial Area are compared from the point of time before and after the incentive. Besides this, the economical data of the city before and after the incentive are compared. From the results, it has been observed that investments and employment has been increased after the incentives.Key Words: Investment Incentives, Incentive Measures, State Aids, Regional Development.
