The visual relationship between glitch art and kinetic typography as new media art (Cumalikizik example)

The aim of this study is to investigate the visual relationship The Visual Relationship Between Glitch Art and Kinetic Typography as New Media Art (Cumalıkızık Example). Towards the end of the 20th century, the new media contains all of the tools that are developing and expanding in terms of reaching people or masses in the field of communication and publishing. The new media has brought a new perspective to the field of art and changed daily habits. The development of technology, causes the formations, distortions and glitches shifts at visual form and resources affected by this development. Many of the distortions and shifts are incidentally occurring, right along with from the artistically point reveals the Glitch Art.In general distorted visual loss it form as a result of change in code by this disruption / distortion situation, gain aesthetic visual in design and appreciation in digital media. Therefore, in this study, it is aimed to investigate the concepts of the relationship between Glitch Art and Kinetic Typography and to put it into practice. In the first part, starting with John Glenn, who laid the groundwork for the concept of Glitch Art, the emergence of Glitch by investigating trends such as Dadaism and Futurism, which led to the formation of Glitch before becoming a glitch, was explained. Glitch Art's sound and accidental stages of development, aesthetic status, effects on popular culture, Glitch Art types and application methods are discussed. In the second chapter, under the title of typography, the definition, development and movements of the Gutenberg era typography 'kinetic typography' that allows moving to grasp movements are mentioned. Application areas and production processes of kinetic typography are discussed. The third part includes information about the researched subject and the history of Cumalıkızık which will be applied and includes the introductory video and production stages by combining historical textures using Glitch Art and Kinetic Typography.
