Abstract (EN)
With the development of new media technologies, it has been possible to present new communication channels, environments and tools to the use of the individual. New media technologies offer users many opportunities. One of these opportunities is effective communication. It requires the elimination of communication barriers. They are all the things that creates a negative dimension for the communication process by limiting the effectiveness of the communication process. Communication reduces barriers, productivity, skills, capabilities and opportunities. For this reason, the communication barriers encountered in this process should be reduced or even eliminated in order to communicate effectively in the new media. This research aims to determine the communication barriers on the new media. For this reason, it is aimed to find out what communication barriers faced by university students on new media platforms are in terms of students, to evaluate and categorize these barriers, to make recommendations to reduce and eliminate barriers.
