Abstract (EN)

In addition to being part of a culture that symbolizes the Mediterranean, the olive (Olea europeaL.) tree with its oil obtained from the fruit and its fruit is economically a very valuable plant. In this study, transcriptome sequencing work is performed by isolating total RNA from the mature (belongs to month of december) and underripe (belongs to month of july) pedicel tissues by means of the the new generation sequencing technology device Roche 454 GS FLX+ to understand molecular mechanisim of the development of the pedicel tissue providing link between fruit and tree, to reveal the genetic mechanisms allowing metabolites forming as a result of photosynthesis in plant to be carried to the olive tree and to determine genetic factors effective in the event of abscission. Such a study related to the pedicel tissue of olive has not been done before.164.733 reading in total has been obtained as a result of sequencing. Bioinformatics analyses has been made incorporating these readings and the genes obtained were classified and defined.
