Abstract (EN)
For corporations and businesses the meaning of competition has evolved from generated revenues and sales figures into more importantly to be reputable and the efforts of sustaining the reputation. To be reputable is only achieved when various components are perceived by consumers and target groups. Any business or corporation will be a "preferable" and "essential" brand as long as it is perceived reputable. In order to achieve this goal is it fundamental to determine the expectations of target groups and set strategies towards meeting those expectations. Local governments which focus on public needs and services should engage on effective communication management strategies. Local councils that are an important part of local government consist of public members themselves; therefore it is crucial to implement effective strategies with public relations professionals in order to have a good reputation and to be perceived reputable.
