In the face of traumatic events, individuals may perceive, along with the inherent negative responses, a number of positive changes, which reveal posttraumatic growth. This concept has increased its expression in literature over the years, and it has been recognized that people exposed to highly traumatic events, such as bereavement, war combat, disasters, disease or other stressful or life-threatening events, may perceive positive changes from the struggling with those events. In accordance with this purpose The study was conducted through convergent parallel mixed method design (Creswell & Plano Clark, 2015). In the first problem situation which was identified the relations between the post traumatic growth and independent variables such as gender, age, rumination, psychological resilience, psychological support, rumination and assumption world. The quantitative data was collected by Post Traumatic Growth Inventory, Rumination Scale Short Form, Short Form of Psychological Resilience and World Assumptions Scale. The collected data was analyzed by the model of step wise version of Multiple Regression Analyze. One hundred eight (74 females, 34 males) were participants of the study. Their age differs from 18 to 78. After the loss 64 people had got psychological support and the rest of the population hadn't. When the quantitative results examined the level of post traumatic growth of the participants' mean was 52. 31. The result of regression analyze showed that there was no relation between post traumatic growth and gender, deliberate rumination and psychological support. In accordance with there was negative relation between age and post traumatic growth was examined. As a result of the regression analyze it was found that age (β = -.38, t= -.4.74, p< .001), psychological resilience (β = .29, t = 3.54, p = .001), initiative rumination (β = .25, t = 2.99, p< .01), randomness (β = .22, t = 2.84, p< .05) and benevolence of the world (β = .19, t = 2.15, p< .05) were significant predictors of the level of post traumatic growth. According to stepwise regression analyze the variables which includes the fifth model predicted that 45% of total variance [R = .66, R² = .43, F1-102 = 4.606, p< .05]. In the second problem of the research; it was examined in a qualitative way in the context of beliefs, cultural and religious rituals and psychological support within the post traumatic growth. In this stage it was interviewed 20 participants face to face. The qualitative data's were examined with content analyze. As qualitative results two main structures were seen.
