Personal protectors and limits in work at height

"Safety" has first precedence in every industrial compound for all type works in Turkey and all other countries'. This situation has place both national and international legislation. For this reason, taking precautions into working area for every type of work has a great importance. Every taken precautions provide secure to company, production process and workers who will work in this area. Moreover, Health and Safeyt has been become field of study within autotelic subjects, rules, theories and basic principles. This principals and laws has naturally arised as a result of this principals and laws. Because of labor accidents and industrial diseases both workers and environment has been damaged. Today dimension of losses that because of labor accidents necessarily investigate both nationally and internationally level. Especially, when this subject is probed according to working fields, some of different subjects are come into view. Working at height is the first in order to those subjects. When we look within this meaning; this subject also may be divided like oil industry, exploring, drilling, production, refinery and transport, construction, industry, chemical, mining and energy sector. Even though oil, mining and energy sectors especially has international quality, Health and Safeyt studies has been shown differences in comparison with countries socio- economic, politic and geopolitical position. We can say that working at height has a place in all those sectors. Thus, in this study working sectors even are different from each other, the same thing is working at height. In this study our subject is putting forward a general term for safety at working height and determining what the status of working height both similar and dissimilar are into international regulations. When the scientific and technological level reached today, ethical understanding and awareness are evaluated together, "zero work accident", "zero occupational disease" is a theoretically accessible target. Today, for example, the fact that this target is often included as a visual message, as a slogan at the entrance of construction sites, shows that a unity of purpose has emerged for this distant target, at least on the basis of discourse. At this point, it will be the right step to approach the issue on a sectoral basis and to direct the training and awareness activities by considering the hazard inventories specific to each sector. Thanks to sectoral deepening, it will be possible to control whether progress has been made depending on the presence of sectoral statistics. Adaptation of vocational qualification trainings to diversified field conditions and reinforcement with frequent repetitive applications should be handled with state measures. In our country, professional competency obligation has been introduced especially for those working in the mining and construction field in recent years. Working at height is a common hazard definition for many industries. Raising conscious engineers at all levels in this regard and enriching the relevant curriculum with practices will bring great benefits on a national basis in the medium and long term.
