Abstract (EN)
The event records are the vesicants which includes the decisions given by the judges who had rights to give decision in Ottoman Empire, their official reports, administrative, political and legal correspondences.These vesicants, which were separately maintained and belonging to specific regions, are crucial sources to investigate and examine the Ottoman Empire history in-depth.There are 174 event records belonging to Ayntab which was a district of Aleppo province.This study includes 148 numbered evaluation and transcription of the event records of Ayntab, Hijri 1288-1291 ( Gregorian 1871-1874) from page 136 to 270. There are 391 decisions in the transcripted part.In the decisions, besides the legal thematic subjects such as estate, statudes, claim-dept, custodian, assignment, marriage, alimony, purchase – sale and heritage, there are also political subjects.
