Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to examine the reflections of the July 15 coup attempt in journals of literary art and thought. The study aims to cover the relevant issues of the journals published after the July 15 coup attempt, to identify and examine the traces of the coup, which succummed during the attempt, through different types of literature, and to evaluate the stance created in the world of literature through periodicals. In general, the relationship between the literary society and the coup, the social change, and the literary productions that emerged in the coup processes were emphasized; and the related articles in the determined journals of literary art and thought were evaluated by classifying them in terms of genre. The traces of the July 15 coup attempt were explored in texts other than the literary genre, and the attitudes that we define as "blindness" in the face of the coup were evaluated. As a result of the study, it was determined that almost every journal mentioned the coup attempt in the August and September issues. Both in special issues and in terms of genre, also several journals have either ignored the attempt or adopted different approaches. Keywords : July 15, coup, uprising, journal, peridodical
