The main source of this thesis is the Sofia Kadiasker Records, numbered s-306, which covers the years H. 1138-1139, J. 1725-1726. This record consists of about 118 pages, the various documents in it are not read in the form of transcription, but in the form of was summary in new Turkish letters. Sofia has become one of the most important cities of Rumelia. Approximately, it came under Ottoman rule at the end of the 14th century. After, since the city was the residance of Beylerbeyi until the 19th century. It was named as Pasha Livası and became the center of Rumelia. Sofia is important for the illumination of the political, social, economic and cultural life of the Balkans politics of the Ottoman Empire. Therefore, the Sofia kadiasker records numbered of S-306 was summarized and transposed into latin letters. The thesis, which covers one year of the city of Sofia, consists of four chapters. In the first part, information was given about the situation of Sofia from the beginning to the 18th century from the Ottoman administration. The second part consists of information about the Kadi Institution and Kadi Registries in the Ottoman Empire. The third part is the section in which the entire record is read in new Turkish letters and classified according to document types. In the last part, according to the types of documents read, the findings about Sofia's relationship with the center, its economic, social, military and religious life, and that of the non-Muslim people living in the city are evaluated within the nation system.
