The purpose of our study is to examine the relationship between men and women, the effect of separation anxiety on marital satisfaction in married couples between the ages of 18-30

Separation anxiety is expressed as the idea of separtion from the mother or attachment object, orthe idea of separation. Adultseparationanxietydisorder (GAD) is defined as an anxietydisorderthatmanifestsitself in theearlystages of life and has similarsymptomstochildhoodseparationanxiety. Inthiscontext, theaim of thestudy is todeterminethedifference in theeffect of separationanxiety on maritalsatisfaction in earlymarriedaccordancewiththe "relationalscanning model". Thepopulation of thestudyconsists of individualsaged 18 andover (100 womenand 100 men) living in Bursa. Thesample of thestudy is composed of marriedcoupleswhoare 18 years old and over (100 womenand 100 men) living in Bursa province. In the study, in early married couples, it will be done according to the relational scanning model, one of the general screening models. According to the findings of the study, it was observed that the variables ofgender, age and education level did not predict marital satisfaction. A significant relationship was found between marital satisfaction and adult separation anxiety. It was found that adult separation anxiety predicted marital satisfaction. It was found that the variables of gender and educational status predicted Adulthood separation anxiety.
