Abstract (EN)
Menstruation covers 30-35 years of a woman's life on average and is a physiological event that recurs every month. Continuing menstruation throughout the fertile age is a sign of reproduction. Characterized by physical and behavioral symptoms, PMS manifests itself in the second half of the menstrual process and negatively affects women's lives. 40% of women in the reproductive period have PMS. Severe symptoms may be known at low rates. Bloating, anxiety, and tension; Crying spells, depression, and fatigue are the most common symptoms of PMS. These symptoms usually last for a week. Apa (American Psychiatric Association) has named the syndrome in the presence of these symptoms "premenstrual dysphoric disorder". It is thought that women with PMS encounter this disorder during this process and therefore reduce their quality of life. According to eysenck's definition, personality is the individual's unique adaptation to the environment. This process refers to the organization of the individual in terms of character, cognitive, physical and emotional. Some theorists say that emotions and behaviors affect personality traits. Individuals' sexual life and satisfaction from it are effective in the continuation of relationships. While sexual life represents the most intimate and private area of men and women; It also includes themes such as happiness, satisfaction, pleasure and success. As in many areas, the mutual expectations of partners and how much they can meet these expectations in sexual life significantly affect the course of the relationship. In this context, in romantic relationships, when spouses express their needs to each other and their sensitivity to needs is high, relationship motivation is also increased. Considering these, we can say that sexual life also affects the relationship dimension and the psychological state of the individual.
