Abstract (EN)

Among the sources that shed light on the social and economic history of the Ottoman Empire, the Dividend Registers, which were kept in the 19th century, contain important information about the period they belonged to. Accidents and households of households, taking into account the households, real estate, land, animal and product information such as the information is recorded in the book. information about which animals are fed and raised, as well as family names, personal names and nicknames, kinship relations, charitable real estate, agricultural areas, earning animals, earnings, annual income and many more detailed information is given. In this study, it was aimed to reveal the social and economic structure of Sivas Province, Amasya Sancağı and Akdağ Village in the middle of 19th century. It is possible to say that the livelihood of the population of Akdağ Village is derived from agriculture and animal husbandry. As agricultural activities, berry bond, grape vineyard, orchard and also beekeeping are prominent, while sheep as cow cattle and sheep as goat are raised. The occupations in the village are shaped by agriculture and animal husbandry, and gardeners, windmills and shepherds are the most common occupations. Beside the taxpayers paid by the public in the head of the taxpayers, they also pay perish and the grape comes.
