Expolarations on Turkish theatr after 90s and research on In Yer Face theatre in 2000s

Considering the developmental processes of the theater, it is seen that new movements and experimental works progress parallel to the changes in the era. For instance, when the political wind in the world blows through socialism, the political aesthetic of the theater (epic theater, etc.) has developed. Or the winds of freedom in the 1960s have led to the emergence of experimental and various theater approaches. The emergence of the performance coincides with the 1980s, the era that the individualization movement in Europe became intense. In these years, the development of technology has accelerated and internet usage has increased. The television and cinema sector presented violence and sexuality to the audience. The wars of that period were brought to the public with live broadcasts. Art producers were influenced by the current atmosphere and performed individual, illegal, critical and brutal performances in response to the world's war and destruction. These movements in the world theater has also influenced the theater in Turkey. Experimental theater movement in Turkey didn't begin until 1990s. Şahika Tekand, with Studio Actors; Naz Erayda with Kumpanya; Mahir Günşıray, Theater Playhouse; Emre Koyuncuoğlu has been the pioneer of innovative theater movements in the 1990s with the Green Grapes Movement. Beside the exploration of the theaterof that period, interviews which are evaluated in the light of theoretical knowledge, have been made with the artists above and also with Özen Yula, who is known by the avangard theater scripts, Nedim Saban who is known in popular theater field, Selen Korad Birkiye, who has been gained a critical perspective in theater, and Yeşim Özsoy Gülan who is one of the founders of Galata Perform, which is a current experimental theater stage. In the thesis, on once hand, as another main issue, the place of In Yer Face theater in the world and Turkey has been explained in its historical progress and on the other hand, it is consulted the artist above about this type of theater.
