Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, within the scope of the Erasmus+ program between 2014 and 2020, the data on the grant allocated to Türkiye, the number of participants from Türkiye, the total number of projects, the number of incoming and outcoming students, staff, and trainees, the data on the countries that received the most acceptances from Türkiye, the universities that participated in the mobility the most from Türkiye, strategic partner budgets, the number of projects and partner organizations were examined. The data in the study were obtained from the Erasmus+ Factsheet page, and the basic simple statistical package program was used in the analysis of these data in order to show Türkiye's active participation rate of the Erasmus+ program in 2014-2020, its development or limitations, if any, together with the reasons, and to reveal the program's contributions to our country. Within the basic statistical package program, Spearman Correlation Relationship Test and descriptive statistics analysis were used for this study. The variables identified for the Spearman Correlation Relationship Test are grants, number of participants in Turkish projects, number of outgoing students and trainees from Türkiye, number of incoming students and trainees to Türkiye, incoming staff to Türkiye, outgoing staff from Türkiye, strategic partnership grants, number of strategic partnership projects, number of organizations in strategic partnerships. As a result of the correlation test, a significant relationship was found at the .05 significance level between the 10 variable pairs determined between 2014 and 2020. However, when the numerical data of the identified variables are analyzed, it is determined that mobility is generally affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, and there is a decrease in the mobility data during the peak period of the pandemic.
