Abstract (EN)
Throughout history, all societies have resorted to various forms of artistic expression in order to prove themselves against nature and to establish superiority over nature. Although primitive societies did not have any concerns about making art, their relationship with nature brought them closer to art. The basic points of abstract art in primitive societies are separate from the basic points on which abstract art in a civilized society is based. In other words, although primitive people approached the abstract because of their fears and anxieties about the universe they live in, civilized people, on the contrary, turned to abstract art because they had the necessary equipment about the universe. The introduction of abstract and abstraction as an art in the 20th century with the development of the industry. It has been the result of innovation and change movements in Europe. In this period, abstract art is the 20th century. is accepted as a form of expression of his art. This innovative movement, which started at the end of the 19th century, showed itself in Turkish art in the 1950s and experienced its most intense periods towards the 1960s. It is known that Turkish painting art gained momentum and entered the development process in line with the changes and cultural interactions experienced after the declaration of the Republic. In this study, which deals with the abstraction tendencies in contemporary Turkish painting after 1960, the effects of abstract and abstraction approach in painting art and the style changes of Turkish artists in the face of this situation are included. This thesis, it is aimed to examine the artworks of the artists who showed abstraction tendency after 1960. In the last part, the research was supported by the experimental art applications of the researcher.
