Özet (EN)
One of the most important factors affecting the quality criteria in medium density fiber board (MDF) is the amount of raw material used in the product bill. This study was conducted in order to investigate the effect of raw material usage amounts on internal bond, modulus of rupture and surface strength of a company operating in wood industry for MDF production process. Past production data were analyzed to determine the raw materials which are effective on internal bond, modulus of rupture and surface soundness of the output parameters of MDF board. Single and multi-objective mathematical models have been developed that minimizing production cost; maximizing internal bond, modulus of rupture and surface soundness single and multi-objective mathematical models have been developed. Effective solutions have been achieved with the sequential goal programming approach in solving multi-objective models.
