important books of Shafi'i jurisprudence in the later ages. It included all the chapters of jurisprudence, and presented an explanation of all the legal provisions of the situations that a Muslim faces in his life. The author relied on most of the books that were written before him in Shafi'i jurisprudence. This study investigated a single copy of the manuscript found in the Al-Azhar Library in Egypt. It also followed the historical descriptive approach that requires a return to the author's personal and scientific biography, as well as the scientific approach in investigation and commentary to present the book in a good way, and the comparative analytical approach in highlighting the author's opinions, and the extent to which he agrees with or contradicts the doctrine of Imam Shafi'i. The study concluded some results, the most important of which are: The author added some fatwas related to new issues in his time, and corrected some of them, and the author was distinguished in his approach in this book by responding to complex and strange issues, and explaining their rulings, as the author arranged his book according to the unites, chapters, investigations, and issues contained in the Shafi'i jurisprudence books. The author spoke about the most urgent jurisprudential issues, and explained the opinion of his Sheikh, and relied mainly on the explanation of: Al-Minhaj by Al-Ramli, and the later footnotes books; Like footnotes by Al-Abadi, Al-Shabramalsi, Al-Baguri, and others. The author did not address the rest of the other schools of thought, such as the Hanafi, Maliki and Hanbali jurisprudence, except rarely in some issues. The scholarly and literary personality of Al-Qayati appeared, as he was a man of letters and a poet, in addition to his mastery of delicate jurisprudential issues.
