Abstract (EN)

For arterial blood pressure, it is valid for 140/90 mmHg with repeated measurements. It is a disease that manifests itself with its course in a vehicle consisting of hyperkantania, it is an event problem about happening to events and a possible event. About 80-90% of all hypertension cases have undetermined primary (essential) details. The remaining 20% is secondary research, which comes optionally as an additional item at the bottom. Initiation criteria for hypertension treatment are determined according to systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels and total CV risk level. In order to control hypertension, non-pharmacological treatment, which we call lifestyle changes, is as important as drug therapy. In addition to these, modifiable risk factors such as diabetes, dyslipidemia, abdominal obesity and smoking should also be determined. Since hypertension is a chronic disease, patients need to learn to live with hypertension. For this reason, it is important to determine in which area patients have difficulties while adapting to hypertension. In order to increase the success in hypertension treatment, it should be determined how well the patients comply with this treatment, as well as choosing the right drug treatment. In order to increase the effectiveness of the treatments that patients receive in primary care, it is possible to make a rapid evaluation in terms of drug treatment compliance and compliance with chronic diseases. Our study was conducted to evaluate the sociodemographic characteristics of 106 hypertensive patients who applied to Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic between April 2021 and July 2021, to evaluate the compatibility of their sociodemographic characteristics with drug therapy and chronic diseases. In our study, 63.2% of our patients showed low compliance with drug treatment. It was concluded that the physical, social and psychological adaptation to hypertension of patients with high adherence to drug treatment was also significantly higher. When we look at the literature, many reasons affecting compliance have been defined. However, the results are contradictory. It is important to carry out similar studies in primary care and with more participants in order to increase the compliance of the patients with the treatment and the quality of life.
