Alî b. Muhammed b. Ibrahim al-Hâzin and his work al-Rawz wa al-Hadâ'ik fî Sîrat Hayr al-Halâ'ik

In this thesis, it has been examined how the narrations are used, considering the work of Hâzin al-Baghdâdî (678-741/1241-1380) er-Ravz ve'l-hadâʾik fî tehzîbi sîreti hayri'l-halâʾik. Our study consists of an introduction and two main chapters. In the introduction, information about the subject, purpose, scope, method and sources of the thesis is given. In the first chapter, information about Hâzin's life, scientific personality, teachers, works, and the political, scientific and cultural environment of the period in which he lived were examined in order to better understand the sirah work, which is the main subject of the thesis. In the second chapter, the general features of Hâzin al-Baghdâdî's work named er-Ravz ve'l-hadâʾik, its copies, editions, the sources of the work and the use of the source, the subjects in the work are discussed in order and its content is examined. In addition to these, the place and importance of the work in terms of writing the sirah has been analyzed and it has been tried to reveal what kind of tradition it is. In the conclusion, evaluations were made in the light of the information obtained.
