Abstract (EN)
In order to be in harmony with supernatural beings, to benefit from their favours and favours, and to turn the current negative situation into a positive one, the word we attribute to all extraordinary things is "cult". Cult is an extraordinary view of life. In Turkish folk culture, there are many cults that have come from the past to the present. The prominent cults are: tree, earth, water, fire, sky, mountain, cave, dead and ancestor cults. Shamanism, the belief system of Altai peoples, is reflected in Altai mythology and Altai tales. In this study, based on the studies on Altai tales, the cults in Altai-Tıva tales will be determined. This study consists of three main parts. In the first part of the study, Altai-Tıva Turks and Altai Shamanism, Altai-Tıva field and Altai Shamanism will be discussed. The second part, Altai-Tıva Tales, will give information about the fairy tale, general characteristics and classification of the fairy tale, Altai tales / Altai fairy tale telling tradition, Altai tales and classification, and the source of the tales will be associated with the belief system. In the third chapter titled Cults in Altai-Tıva Tales, the cults in the tales will be evaluated under the titles of nature cults (forest, tree, water, mountain, stone), death cult, satanic (negative) cults, folk medicine cult. In the three complementary parts of the thesis, the cults identified in the tales will be discussed together with their examples. Therefore, it is aimed to determine the extent to which the cults formed and developed around the element of belief are reflected in Altai-Tıva Tales.
