Abstract (EN)

Recently, with emerging resistant strain aganist antimicrobial agents, researcher have head towards developing new effective antimicrobial drugs. When we looked at biological spectrum of biological activity spectrum of hydrazides-hydrazones, these compounds have been used as antimicrobial, anticancer, antitubercular, antibacterial, antimalarial, antifungal etc., drugs from 1950s to todays. In addition to biological activity of hydrazides-hydrazones, investigated many of articles have been showed that hydrazides-hydrazones used as starting material for organic synthesis and ligant for metal complexes. In this study, firstly S)-ethyl-2-(4-substituted)benzamido-3-phenylpropanoate derivates (1, 4) were prepared by reacting of the starting material L-phenylalanin ethyl ester hyrocloride with appropriate 4-substituted benzoyl clorides. At second step, using % 98 hydrazine monohydrate, (S)-2-(4-substituted)benzamido-3-phenylpropanhydrazide derivates (2, 5) were synthesized. Then the hydrazides were condensed with different 4-substituted benzaldehydes in ethanol to give the novel(S)-2-(4-substituted)benzamido-N?-(4-substitutedbenzilidene)-3-phenylpropanhydrazides (3a-d and 6a-d) in good yields. All reactions was monitored by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and obtained products purified by crystalization from appropriate. The structures of synthesized compounds were identified by IR, ¹H NMR, UV-vis, and elemental analysis (C, H, N, S).Key Words: Hydrazides, Hydrazones, L-phenylalanin ethyl ester
