Abstract (EN)
It is the mind that distinguishes man from other living things. Therefore, the use of reason has been a subject that almost every society attaches importance th oughout history. The elements of madness and stupidity that arise from the use of reason and reason are placed at the center of the narratives. In both written and oral narratives, the benefits of the mind to man and the harms of stupidity and madness to humanity and humanity have been expressed. The symbolic handling of the elements of reason, madness and stupidity through fairy tales constitutes the basis of our study. The mind, which is the theme of the tales, which is the reflection of the collective consciousness of the people, is an important element that helps to choose and distinguish right from wrong. The people wanted to convey their views on such an important element to future generations by embodying them through fairy tales. In our study, the ways in which the elements of reason, madness and stupidity are handled in tales, which are one of the narrative types, are examined from a multi-faceted point of view. The importance of the mind and the harms of the lack of mind have been tried to be analyzed from various perspectives by processing them through male heroes, female heroes, Keloğlan and animal heroes.
