Abstract (EN)

Blood parasitic diseases is seen frequently in sheep, it is also quite common in Turkey. Anaplasma ovis is a arthropod-derived pathogen that infects erythrocytes in small ruminants. This study was planned to evaluate some serum inflammation marker levels in sheep infected with anaplasmosis. GM-CSF, IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α levels were also detected in 20 sheep whose positivity was determined by elisa kit. GM-CSF, IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α levels of anaplasmosis positive groups were increased. Increases in IL-1, TNF-α, GM-CSF levels are statistically significant. (p <0.05) Increasing knowledge about the mechanisms of the immune response to anaplasma and the factors affecting it is thought to make significant contributions to the accumulation of knowledge required for future immunotherapy research and studies against Anaplasma infections
