Özet (EN)
Ancholysing Spondylitis (AS); It is an inflammatory rheumatological disease of which etiology has not been fully revealed, which affects the axial spine together with the sacroiliac joints, can sometimes be accompanied by peripheral joint involvements, and extra-articular clinical findings, which can lead to progressive bone destruction in the spine. AS disease, which is more common in the most productive and most dynamic period of human life in terms of age range, creates serious workforce loss in terms of production and service sectors. In the studies conducted, between fifteen and thirty percent (15-30%) of the AS patient group was found to have a loss of work force. In many studies, it has been revealed that depression is very common in patients with AS,and the psychological state of the patient also affects kinesiophobia, apart from the pain pattern. This observational and cross-sectional study consisted of 80 patients and healthy volunteers who applied to Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Rheumatology Polyclinic from September 2021 to April 2022 and were diagnosed with AS according to the modified New York criteria and met the inclusion criteria.55 people were included in the study as the control group. Beck Depression Scale, Tampa Kinesiophobia Scale, Maslach Burnout Analysis, Edmmonton Frailty Scale, BASDAI, BASFI, BASMI scores and SF-36 standard of living scale, retrospective laboratory data of the patients and sociodemographic variables were analyzed in the multi-analysis of the individuals who participated in our study.Vitamin B12 and vitamin D values were lower and CRP and SAA laboratory values were higher in AS patients compared to the control group. Our study for AS, which is an important disease in terms of spinal mobility loss and loss of workforce, is a multi-analysis study in terms of evaluating quality of life scales, kinesiophobia, sociodemographic characteristics, disease activation, laboratory parameters used in the evaluation of the disease, and will be a priority for future larger studies.
