The investigation of the effect of the resveratrol on oxidative damage in pregnant woman

Objective: This research was carried out to examine the application of intrapartum care recommendations for positive birth experience of the World Health Organization in a mother-friendly hospital. Material and Methods: Descriptively, the research was carried out with 384 women who had vaginal birth between March 2021 and September 2021 in the Health Sciences University Tepecik Training and Research Hospital Ahmet Ersan Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic affiliated to the Izmir Provincial Health Directorate. The data were collected by face-to-face interview method with the "Introductory Information Form" and "Intrapartum Care Recommendations Form for Positive Birth Experience" prepared by the researchers by scanning the relevant literature. Research data were analyzed with the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 20.0 package program. Descriptive statistics were used to evaluate the data. Results: It is detected that the average age of women is 25.82  5.30 years, 24.7% are high school graduates, 62.8% are unemployed, 27.9% of their spouses are literate and 61.7% are self-employed. and 67.7% of them perceived income as equal to expenditure, 83.2% of them had social security. 99.2% of the women were not accompanied by a companion during labor and birth, 79.9% were oxytocin, 59.1% were subject to fluid or food restriction, fundal pressure was to 23.2%, episiotomy was to 99.8% and uterus massage was applied to 99.7% of them. Conclusion: As a result of the answers given by the women participating in the study to the form of intrapartum care recommendations for positive birth experience, it was concluded that health professionals did not apply some of the intrapartum care recommendations for positive birth experience of the World Health Organization.
