Abstract (EN)

When the studies in the field of traditional handicrafts are examined, it is understood that the artifacts in the museums, especially in the warehouse, have not come to light very much, considering the accessibility. It has been seen that textile works are in this group because they are troublesome in terms of protection. By examining the technical features of the works reached, the tables that will constitute a source in the field have been studied. Restoration and conservation works of textile works were carried out. It has been observed that the weavings made around the province of Antalya are mostly in the plain technique. It was determined that underwear samples were made of linen and cotton. Even though they are in the minority, silk underwear pieces were also found. The sample of the study, which was carried out based on document analysis, consisted of 37 women's clothing items in the warehouse of the museum. The document number of the sample, the date of arrival at the museum, the way it came to the museum, its place in the museum, weaving material, weaving size, weaving technique, the pattern used and the complementary features of the weaving contribute to the literature in detail. Keywords: Shuttle weaving, Antalya Ethnography Museum, Silk, Linen, Cotton
