Abstract (EN)

The effects of climate change are mostly seen in agricultural activities. For this reason, it is the responsibility of human beings to minimize these effects on agricultural production and to get the highest yield, support sustainable agriculture, and fight serious problems such as famine. Proper and adequate nutrition is essential in raising healthy generations. For this reason, it is gaining importance day by day to feed the rapidly increasing world population and to prevent many negative factors such as climate change and pollution. However, Turkey, which is a country with only self-sufficiency potential in paddy production with high added value, is on the way to becoming a self-sufficient country in rice in the coming years with its ever-increasing production amount. In this study, the paddy (Oryza sativa L.) plant was grown by applying different doses of boron (B) fertilizer and using the drip irrigation method. Afterward, the contents and yield values of some plant nutrients of the plant were evaluated. The trial was carried out by applying boron ethanolamine solution to 1 plant x 4 replications x 5 different doses (0- 200 - 400 - 600 - 800 g/da) in agricultural land in Kaleiçi District of Çatalca District of Istanbul. It was carried out according to the "Randomized Blocks Design". As a result of the study, it was observed that the highest boron value (31,55 mg/kg) of the boron content in the plant and the dose application of 800 g/da increased with the boron fertilizer applied at increasing doses. It has been determined that the plant has a synergistic effect with potassium, which also functions in quality parameters. Water restriction, one of the most important and limiting factors of rice agriculture, has contributed to the liberation of this agricultural plant with correct and conscious fertilization.
