Abstract (EN)

In this study, it is aimed to establish the relationship between image and culture in Asaf Hâlet Çelebi's poems and to understand the imaginary aspects of the poems by determining their cultural characteristics in general. In this context, the concepts of culture and image are examined together with the concepts of language and poetry related to these concepts. Based on the speculative knowledge obtained after the conceptual discussions, the concepts of image and culture are theoretically associated. As a result of this process, it is determined that culture is an inevitable human activity and the image develops as a human activity within the circle of culture. Testable arguments derived from this determination are primarily used to understand the poet's poetic views; Then, using the analysis of seven selected poems, general conclusions about the construction of the image based on culture are reached. The dialectical logic, which bases the arguments revealed in the study and the results determined in the sample, constitutes the consistency and validity rules of the arguments in question. In addition, the use of dialectical logic in the study makes it possible to understand artistic value in its actual existence. Key Words: Culture, Image, Poem, Language, Asaf Hâlet Çelebi, Human Activity, Dialectical Logic, Artistic Value.
