Abstract (EN)

This study investigates the potential relationship between psychosocial risks in the workplace and indicators of diet quality and leisure time physical activity among healthcare workers, which are all significant contributors to cardiovascular disease risk. Utilizing the Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire II (short version) scale to evaluate psychosocial risks, the short Healthy Eating Index for diet quality, and the Godin Shepherd Leisure Time Physical Activity Questionnaire for leisure time physical activity, alongside anthropometric measurements, data were collected from 260 participants (72.6% response rate, comprising 94 males and 166 females). Logistic regression analysis revealed noteworthy findings: lower exposure to the risk of " meaning of work" corresponded to higher diet scores (better diet quality) (OR=1.780, CI 1.026-3.090, P value=0.040), indicating a potential association. Additionally, lower exposure to the risk of "commitment to the workplace" was associated with lower sedentary behavior (OR=0.482, CI 0.272-0.854, p value=0.012). These findings suggest a potential relationship between certain psychosocial risks and health behaviors. Further research is warranted to deepen understanding and promote the health and well-being of healthcare workers, ultimately enhancing the work environment.
