Comparison of plant names in Azerbaijan Turkish and Turkey Turkish

This study consists of four parts.The aim of the study is to determine whether there are similarities or differences by comparing plant names in Azerbaijan Turkish and Turkey Turkish in terms of structure and meaning. In the first part of the study, general informations about difficulties and studies related to plants names and scientific names of plants are given. In the second part of the study, a table was created from the data obtained by scanning the dictionaries belonging to the two languages together with their Latin equivalents. In addition, plant names in Azerbaijan Turkish are classified in terms of structure. In the third part of the study, the evaluation of plant names in terms of phonetics, morphology and semantics in Azerbaijan Turkish and Turkey Turkish took place. The dictionary of plant names with its Latin equivalent is given in the last part.
