Abstract (EN)

Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) are a group of chronic gastrointestinal inflammatorydiseases with unknown etiology. There is a combination of well documented factors in their pathogenesis, including intestinal microbiota dysbiosisHe present work aimed to Samples Collection During the period from 1st January 2022 to 1st April 2022, 40 sample are collected from Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients, Who attended to Al- Najaf Center for diseases and surgery of the digestive system for, a careful case history was taken from each patient using formula sheet (Appendix 1). Their ages range between 25-60 years old, 30 patients diagnosed clinically with inflammatory bowel disease, the number of them were 13 men and 17 women. It also included 10 healthy people who were not infected, the number of men was 3 and women were7.The mean ages of suspected patients was 35.0 years (SD± 6.5) for males, and 38.94 years (SD ±± 6.6) for females. The diagnosis of each case was established using clinical diagnosis by colonoscopy According to the attending physician's report The stool sample was collected from patients in a container prepared for this purpose and was transferred to the laboratory for the purpose of examination.
