Abstract (EN)
In this study, the -sA morpheme and conditional expression in Eastern Turkish and Western Turkish have been studied comparatively in the sample of texts selected from the 15th and 16th centuries. In the scope of the study, there are five texts of Western and Eastern Turkish. These are the Eastern and Western Turkish texts of Kitâb-ı Güzîde (Akâid-i İslâm), Mecâlisü'n-Nefâis and Tevârîh-i Mülûk-i Acem which are translated from Eastern Turkish to Western Turkish in the 15th and 16th centuries and also the texts of Gülistan Tercümesi and Tezkîretü'l-Evliyâ that are translated from Persian to both Eastern and Western Turkish in the same centuries. After giving information about the subject, aim, importance, supposition and limitations of the study and also some terms used in the study in the introduction part, the theoretical explanations were made in the second chapter. In the third chapter, the information about research model, research universe and the methods used in collecting data are included. In the fourth chapter, all the uses of the -sA morpheme in the Eastern Turkish texts and their equivalents in the Western Turkish which are with or without -sA morpheme are given. In the fifth chapter, the structures with -sA morpheme only in Western Turkish are classified. In the sixth chapter, the structures with -sA morpheme are classified in terms of being a word group or an element of a sentence and in the seventh part they are classified in terms of having or not having conditional expression. Within the structures that do not have conditional expression, the structures which means wish, necessity and sufficiency also take place. In the eighth chapter, the conjunctions used with -sA morpheme in the texts of Western and Eastern Turkish are identified and they are categorized according to their use as a simple or a compound conjugation. In the ninth chapter, it has been tried to identify and classify the units expressing the condition without using -sA morpheme. The study was completed with the interpretation of the findings and the sharing of the results obtained.
