Abstract (EN)

This research conducted in 2018 spring and early summer in Diyarbakir conditions to determine the effect of nitrogen and bacteria applications (0, 4, 9, 12 kg/da, bacteria inoculation (Rhizobium japonica) and bacteria + 4 kg/da ) on yield and yield components on some cowpea varieties (Sırma and Amazon). Experiment set out on randomized complete block design by split plot with three replications. The plots designed 4 m length and in 70 cm row spacing. In the study, plant height, number of branches per plant, number of pods per plant, grain yield, harvest index, pod length and width and 100 seed weight were examined. The effect of the fertilizer application on plant height, the first pod height, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant pod weight per plant, seed yield, 100 seed weight and harvest index were significant. The highest grain yield was observed from 12 kg/da nitrogen applications.
