Abstract (EN)
SSCP (Single Strand Confirmation) analyses were performed in order to determind genetic relationship among 40 sweet orange genotypes and 3 other Citrus cultivars (Satsuma (Citrus unshiu), Pummelo (Citrus maxima reiking) and Marsh seedless (Citrus paradise)) selected from Ç.U, Tuzcu Citrus Collection. Totally 19 SSCP primer pairs and DNA of plant materials were used for PCR amplification. Fourteen SSCP primers successfully amplified in PCR reactions. PCR products were seperated using GMA (Genetic Mutation Analysis) gels. Data obtained from the gel results were scored as 1 presence of DNA bands, as 0 absence of DNA bands. cluster analysis were performed by using DARWİN 5.0.158 (Dissimilarity Analysis and Representation for Windows) program. Dendrogram was constructed based on Neighbor-Joining method. According to the dendrogram high genetic polymorphism was detected between sweet orange and the other cultures used in this thesis. On the other hand low polymorphism level was detected among sweet orange genotypes. However Sanguinello B 2/10 16-7 and Kozan yerlisi 17-10 genotypes seperated from the other sweet orange genotypes in the dendrogram
