Özet (EN)
The first aim of this study is to determine the relationship between physical education and sport teachers' perceptions of physical literacy and their levels of agency. The second aim is to examine whether both teachers' agency levels and their perceived physical literacy levels differ according to some demographic variables (age, gender, education level, school level, years of professional service, type of institution, and weekly exercise time). In the study, survey and correlational research designs were used among quantitative research methods. The study group of the research consists of 156 physical education and sports teachers working in primary, secondary and high school levels of public and private schools. The data of the study were collected with "Personal Information Form", "Perceived Physical Literacy Scale" and "Teacher Agency Scale". The data were analyzed with the SPSS package program and Arithmetic mean, Standard deviation, T test, Anova, and Pearson correlation tests were used to analyze the data. According to the findings of the study, a moderate, positive and significant relationship was found between physical education teachers' perceptions of perceived physical literacy and teacher agency. While a significant difference was observed in teachers' perceived physical literacy according to gender variable, no significant difference was found in teacher agency. While a significant difference was observed in teachers' physical literacy according to the school type variable, no significant difference was found in their perceptions of agency. While no significant difference was observed in physical literacy and agency levels of teachers according to the age variable, a significant difference was found in both of them according to the years of service variable. A significant difference was observed in the total score of teacher agency according to the level of education of physical education teachers. Another finding of the study was that physical literacy levels increased as the weekly exercise time increased. As a result, it was seen that physical education and sports teachers' perceived physical literacy levels and agency levels differed according to some variables and a relationship was found between perceived physical literacy levels and agency levels.
