The purpose of this study is to understand the effect of uncertainty avoidance dimensions of the Hofstede's cultural dimensions to the relationship between workplace conditions and preference of having a baby for working women. The objectives of the study are making additional literature on this topic and contributing to the field of human resources by providing guidance to the senior management to be aware of the concepts when they are determining work conditions and policies, especially for the women. This study used survey method and responders was white-collar private sector working women between the ages of 18 and 45. This study will use a quantitative research method. Type of the design is explanatory, correlational. SPSS was used for analyzing the results and finding the correlations. This study expects to prove followings hypothesis: • Workplace conditions has an impact on working women's preference of having baby. • Uncertainty avoidance also has a moderator effect in the relationship between workplace conditions and working women's preference of having baby. The study proved the hypothesis that working conditions have an impact on working women's preference of having a baby. The highest impact caused by the two sub factors of working conditions, "management style and working conditions" and "friendship environment". Our other hypothesis that "uncertainty avoidance also has a moderator effect in the relationship between workplace conditions and working women's preference of having baby" was not proved on the all sub factors of the working condition concept, but it was supported on the same strongest two sub factors. This study will contribute for companies to adapt their policies and work conditions to increase working their women employees' preference of having a baby, so they can feel secure about returning to work after having a baby. Governments may use the results of the study for setting up new laws and policies. This will be very important information for the professionals who are responsible for establishing the organizational structure and policies for their organizations.
