Sturmian comparison theorems for certain type of partial differential equations

This thesis entitled by Sturmian comparison theorems for certain type of partial differential equations consists of five chapters. In the first chapter, the subject of the study and the historical developments in the area have been introduced. The second chapter focuses on the definitions of the fundamental concepts of the issues discussed. The the comparison theorems for linear and nonlinear differential equations are discussed and some examples for the applications of these theorems are given. In the third chapter, we investigate the previous work about the comparison theorems for partial differential equations in the literature. In the fourth chapter, Picone type inequalities are observed for the certain type of partial differantial equations and Sturmian comparison results are given via the Picone type inequalities. The results are given in this chapter are original. The fifth chapter is the conclusion.
