An investigation for determination of the relationship between five factor personality traits and emotional labour

Today, the increasing importance of the service sector has become an important factor of emotions in organizations. Businesses begin to think that the satisfaction of the customer is an important factor before the quality of the service as a way of providing a competitive advantage. Therefore, the employers want their employees to not only make a physical and mental effort but emotional labour. This means that the set of individuals with different personality traits from each other display specified emotion. The aim of this study is to determine if there is a relationship between personality characteristics of individuals emotional labor representation more required for workers in service sector. this research took place with the participation of 119 employees serving in special education and rehabilitation center. Relationships between variables in the study were determined by correlation and regression analysis. As a result of analyzes performed, is was found that there was a significant relationship between variables. It was found that there was a positive and significant relationship between In-depth behavior and extraversion and self-discipline and also there is a relationship between intimate behaviour and extraversion, compatibility, self-discipline and openness to development.
